Dr. Kelli with her 13 year old OTTB 'Flash'
Dr. Kelli Taylor has always been fascinated by animals and their ability to bestow unconditional kindness, generosity, and forgiveness upon humans.  She grew up with a variety of animals, everything from dogs and cats to lizards and even a scorpion, because her family would never turn away an animal in need.  She has always been drawn to animals, and recognized even as a young toddler that she wanted to become a veterinarian!

Working hard to realize her dream by putting herself through both undergraduate and veterinary school, Dr. Kelli is a 2008 summa cum laude graduate of Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Cougs!).

After vet school, she completed a year long internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, WA where Dr. Kelli learned many valuable skills in diagnosis, management and treatment of various emergent and difficult cases.

Dr. Kelli then joined the mobile equine practice at Evergreen Holistic Veterinary Care (now Cedarbrook Veterinary Care) in September of 2009 in order to provide Dr. Hannah's clients with a consistent quality of integrative veterinary medicine while she was out on maternity leave. Upon Dr. Hannah's return, Dr. Kelli was forced into a part-time position because of the downed economy, so she decided to focus her efforts on providing quality veterinary chiropractic, acupuncture and preventative care medicine and ventured out our on her own in 2011.  And thus, Mindful Healing Veterinary Care, PLLC was born!

Dr. Kelli truly believes in a holistic approach to medicine and continues to study new therapies and treatments available to our animals everyday.  She received her international certification in animal chiropractic in August of 2009 and certification in veterinary acupuncture in 2012.  Dr. Kelli is now studying to become the first Certified Equine Rehabilitation Therapist in WA through the Animal Rehabilitation Institute in FL and has recently added low level laser therapy to her list of available services!
